Postdoctoral researchers (4-6)

(I) Requirements

1. PhD candidates with background in organic synthesis, computational chemistry, crystallography, or artificial intelligence algorithms;

2. Applicants with working experience in porous materials development, computational chemistry, crystal engineering, instrument development, etc will be preferred.

3. Good writing skills in English and high-level papers published in international journals;

4. Strong independent research ability, good professional dedication and be happy to work with teams;

(II) Salary

1. Salary and welfare are implemented in accordance with relevant regulations of Zhejiang University for postdoctoral fellows, which consists of annual salary of Zhejiang University + co-supervisor allowance + additional rewards (given based on performance) . If you work in the Laboratory of Hangzhou Science innovation Center of Zhejiang University, the annual salary will start at ￥400,000 .

2. The university or Science and Technology Innovation Center provides postdoctoral apartment (preferential rent);

3. Provide first-class experimental and scientific research conditions and high-level academic exchange opportunities at home and abroad;

4. Applicants with excellent performance and outstanding performance can be recommended to apply for teaching positions in ZJU.

(III) Application materials

(I) Main responsibilities

1. Assist the daily operation and management of the laboratory, such as reagent ordering, instrument maintenance, financial management and reimbursement, etc.;

2. Assist or independently undertake relevant material synthesis, testing or instrument building experiments.

(II) Job requirements

1. Good communication and writing skills, teamwork spirit, a strong sense of responsibility, careful work, strong hands-on ability;

2. Master or bachelor degree in chemistry or material related discipline, with knowledge and experimental skills in chemistry, materials or interdisciplinary disciplines; Laboratory management and secretarial experience is preferred

3. Able to work steadily for a long time.

Our Lab has a number of master and PhD enrollment quota every year. Students major in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials and related interdisciplinary majors are welcome.
